Eye Candy

(yes, I'm talking about us lol!)

Lots of different projects going on in our house. So many things that NEED to be done and so many things that I WANT to get done. Right now I am excited because I am working on making this beauty (hint of sarcasm) into something gorgeous for our hallway. (I so wish we had the money right now to rip up that carpet)

(Don't mind Cole, he always has to be the center of attention:0) )
This was one of those $19 bookshelfs from Wal-Mart that we bought 7 years ago for Blake's nursery. I have been using it these last couple of years in my office but now I am going to be making it into a piece of art...at least I hope it will turn out that nicely!

In other news....I have been really into the color purple lately; mixed with grays...so modern but feminine. I think we will be seeing those colors a lot around our house (maybe I am hinting as to something I might be doing with this bookshelf since the gray wall is behind it!)

And, of course this isn't purple, but I loved it anyway! Aqua is my absolute FAVORITE color!! This kitchen would be amazing to have!
